Book week parade

Today it is book week.We had to dress up as a book character that we liked and my costume was the cat in the hat.
My favorite part of book week was when it was our turn to go up on stage because we saw lots of parents, I loved that day.

My Speech

Sky Tower

On Thursday the 11th of june we went to the sky tower. The sky tower is a tall building that was built a long time ago.

When we arrived to the sky tower we watched a slideshow about how long they built it. The sky tower is taller than the eiffel tower. When the slide show was over we went to the top of the sky tower.

Then there was a man who was taking tokens out of  the token machine and he gave us some. I got a maori one. When we were done we looked at the view. My dad was there to. When we were done we went to the refuge room.When we saw a cupboard. We thought it was food or water but guess what! It was colouring in books and pencils if we got bored! I was really surprised because I thought of a different thing.

Well that was my trip to the sky tower.
